When Joe Pruitt witnesses a kidnapping, his first reaction is to do something to stop it. Now he’s caught in the middle of a living nightmare and help isn’t just a phone call away. Tough city cop, hardened soldier, martial-arts master, Joe Pruitt is none of those things, and he knows it. Joe must prove to the kidnappers, the kidnapped girls, and to himself that he can be far more than just an average guy, because, if he can’t, his own daughter is next on the list. Read this taught, intense thriller that challenges the idea of what it means to be a hero.
Great book. Non-stop action starting on page 1. Great writing and someone should make a movie out of this, it's worth it! (Bob – Amazon Review)
This was my first taste of the author's work, but it won't be the last. AVERAGE JOE is storytelling and entertainment in the finest traditions of an action thriller. Spanning a mere 24 hours, the story evolves for Joe as a completely likable and relatable character, and an equally unlikely hero. The bad guys are the kind you love to hate, and the action delivered in a crisp, taut narrative. A book that left me cheering for this every man's man as much as I applauded the effort. I recommend you read this just for the plain damn fun of it! (Bibliomaniac – Amazon Review)
