Searching for Stephen King – In a bleak post-apocalyptic world, a man’s obsession with the books of one popular author may prove to be his undoing.
Look, you need to just go ahead and buy this book. Davis brings the high heat once again, with a riveting collection. There are some true standouts in this book, including Fat Jack, which is one of my favorite short stories ever. If you like horror, you need to snag this anthology. (J.D. Baker – Author of Drawing in the Dark and The Shed and the Well.
I really enjoyed this anthology of short stories. [My favourite story of them all was probably the title and final piece of the book, “Searching for Stephen King.” The story is flourishing, exciting, funny, and heart-pounding. Plenty of twisted stories of slithering brain masses, flesh-eating worms and yes, zombies, make for a really enjoyable, well-rounded collection, quite proper for your short story/anthology shelf.] (Demonika – Reviewer – Absolute Underground Magazine)
